The Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS), Space and Launch Division, is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer Analyst (Level 2) to support our dynamic team in Las Cruces, NM. The Space and Launch Team supports the Government and its customers by monitoring production systems and ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions. Our team focuses on the operation of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.
Position Overview:
The Associate Systems Analyst Engineer will be a part of a high-performing team that are immersed in high intensity operations environment. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to support the Government and its customers by providing operational support 24x7. This role will also collaborate with analysts and engineers from other disciplines. The position will focus on ensuring customers are receiving the most accurate, relevant products they need to accomplish their missions. This position will focus on monitoring production systems for the customer ensuring timely access to data.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Analyze technical data, verify and sustain specific system configurations in accordance with defined constraints and operational requirements.
Create/maintain documentation and procedures associated with the system.
Monitor operational processing operations systems and data flow for nominal status.
Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
Implement test methodologies for production systems and their associated products.
Coordinate with analysts and engineers from other subject areas or teams.
Recommend innovative methods to accomplish processing missions.
Coordinate with external groups on current and future ground system testing and integration; spacecraft launch, transfer and initialization (LT&I).
Coordinate with management and peers to ensure the integrity and continuity of high quality operational products including procedures and tools.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires an active U.S. TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph pre-start (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ Year(s) of experience with customer systems and missions (ground processing and product quality).
1+ Year(s) of experience interfacing with U.S Government customers on requirements.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Technical Bachelor Degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).
Relocation:
