An organization within Northrop Grumman Space Systems’ Payload and Ground Systems (PGS) division, Cutting Edge Optronics is a leading provider of high-power laser diode arrays, high power pump modules and diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers. We are a vertically integrated manufacturer capable of supplying unmounted diode bars, packaged laser diodes, DPSS modules, laser diode drivers and complete DPSS laser systems. Our diode laser-based products have become industry standards and are used in a wide variety of commercial and military applications. 

Job Functions:

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as circuit card assemblies, electronics assemblies, wire harnesses, cable assemblies, etc.
• Work from diagrams, drawings, and manufacturing work orders.
• Make initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools, jigs, solder stations, and digital multi-meters in performance of tasks.
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• Conducts quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Disassembles modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous production assembly experience.
• Associate degree within a related field.

Salary Range: $31,200.00 - $50,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
