General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d)

Your Mission 

You will be an integral part of the finance team in a dynamic and exciting environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that accounting processes are running smoothly and month/year end closing are done in a timely and accurate manner. 

More specifically, you will: 

• Support first-time IFRS implementation
• Handle key tasks during monthly and yearly financial closing periods to ensure accurate financial statement reporting
• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation and recording financial transactions
• Carry out asset accounting, reconciliation of balance sheet and intercompany accounts
• Preparing tax and other reports required by law (e.g., Advance VAT return) 
• Improve accounting processes and policies to increase automation. 

Who you are and what you have 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience 
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB and IFRS 
• Analytical and independent way of working 
• Reliable and detail-oriented professional 
• Confident handling of MS Office applications 
• Enjoy teamwork and have good communication skills
• Fluent in English 

Nice to have:  

• SAP and Lucanet knowledge
