We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Project Engineering Aide. The SEIT Requirements and Verification team handles all System level requirements for the Trident II ballistic missile (commonly known as the D5LE and D5LE2 missile), oversees interface definitions, plans and executes verification processes, and has fingers in every development project under the FBM Program.
We have a Weapon System level view of the FBM Program with activities related to integrating the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) missile into the submarine weapon system, as well as supporting efforts to integrate missile subsystems into the flight vehicle design.

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Entry Level/Hourly, Engineering Aide in Littleton, CO
In this role you will do the following:
• Generate engineering documentation, reports, drawings, flow charts, block diagrams, schedules, and schematics
• Establish and attend daily and weekly team meetings to discuss technical, schedule and operation issues. Coordinate internal and external events, meetings, and gatherings for the team and program.
• Update weekly status chart package and report to program management
The Successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the following:
• Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products
• Ability to effectively engage, communicate, and interact with technical engineers, upper management, and programs customers
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree in a STEM field, related work experience and/or technical training. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered.

Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas:
a) Familiar with Technical Data Package development process, and Engineering Change Packages
b) Experience with designing parts or assemblies in Creo, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent driven solutions
d) Strong communicator and previous administrative aid/engineering aid experience
c) Performing design assessments and developing data
• Basic understanding of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) principles as well as the ability to interpret, generate, and present technical material and problem solve
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail to create high-quality work products. Ability to effectively engage, communicate, and interact with technical engineers, upper management, and programs customers

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $46,700 - $89,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
