With a dedication to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial closing and reporting.

General Ledger Management:

Oversee the general ledger and maintain chart of accounts in the different legal entities
Manage Account payables and Account receivables bookings within the ERP.
Manage capital expenditures and their amortization scheme.
Prepare payment runs and manage bank reconciliations.
Perform reconciliations of complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Compliance and Auditing:

Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Support tax filings with local authorities in Germany, France and Italy for VAT and other local taxes.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes (accounting, controlling, procurement, sales, manufacturing, engineering)

Team Leadership:

Provide training and guidance on accounting Principles and best practices.

What we would love to see from you

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
