With a dedication to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute their expertise to a thriving organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial closing and reporting.
General Ledger Management:
  • Oversee the general ledger and maintain chart of accounts in the different legal entities
  • Manage Account payables and Account receivables bookings within the ERP.
  • Manage capital expenditures and their amortization scheme.
  • Prepare payment runs and manage bank reconciliations.
  • Perform reconciliations of complex accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Compliance and Auditing:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Support tax filings with local authorities in Germany, France and Italy for VAT and other local taxes.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes (accounting, controlling, procurement, sales, manufacturing, engineering)
Team Leadership:
  • Provide training and guidance on accounting Principles and best practices.

What we would love to see from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
