This role is part of the Blue Origin Engines business unit, where our focus is the design, development, manufacturing and testing of engines and propulsion systems. Built for multiple uses, our family of engines is powering the next generation of rockets for commercial, civil, national security and human spaceflight.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Become expert at processing/documenting non-conforming development issues.
- Gain proficiency with schematic entry and analysis tools to affect change from ongoing product discoveries.
- Debug, with supervision: electrical issues associated with engine controller design and controller design for manufacturing (DFM) issues.
- Engage and resolve manufacturing issues with contract manufacturing partners
- Learn fundamental operation of the core circuits: embedded processor watchdog, reset logic, analog instrumentation and other circuits related to sensors, actuators and their accuracy.
- Write and execute work orders as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS EE or related field (possibly Computer Engineering, Physics)
- Internship, project or research experience with analog and digital electronics specifically related to instrumentation measurement circuits and/or embedded processor configurations
- Expertise in popular Electronic CAD packages (schematic entry, simulation)
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Exceptional hands-on lab debug skills. Proficient utilizing lab equipment and making measurements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS EE
- Experience with Aerospace electronic development is a plus
- Exposure to designing safety or critically important aerospace flight hardware aligned with DO-254.
- Circuit board layout experience
- Knowledge or expertise of power conversion electronics

Employee Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave (must be employed at time of birth or adoption), short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program available after 1 year of service.
Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.
Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
