  • Perform numerical simulation of microstructure data (e.g. phase field)
  • Apply and develop new microstructure representation methods
  • Estimate topological properties of the microstructure-process functional relationship
  • Develop a methodology for identifying the extent of homeomorphic regions in latent space where incremental changes can be safely made
  • Documents efforts as required by the contract (i.e., quarterly and final reports) as well as generating other reports as required by the customer

EDUCATIONAL, CLEARANCE AND CERTIFICATION

  • M.S. (Ph.D. preferred) or equivalent in Materials Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • US Citizenship is required

PHYSICAL/WORKING ENVIRONMENT

  • Primary work environment is a standard office setting.
