Business Travel Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Travel Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating a variety of administration tasks to support the travel program. Additional Supply Chain functions may be added.  This role is preferred to be based onsite in our Palo Alto, CA location.  Consideration will be given to remote candidates in CA as well.

Responsibilities include:
Travel Program Supplier Management

• Responsible for selecting and/or renewal of annual or multi year travel provider contracts (air, rental car, hotels, agency) and negotiating rates
• Monitor supplier SLAs
• Address service issues
• Support ad hoc service improvement projects

Travel Policy Compliance
• Pre-travel compliance checks/approvals:
o Out of Policy process
o Domestic & International travel checks
o Hotel rate cap checks/audits
o High fare check

General Travel
• Execute reporting reconciliations
• Unused tickets
• Measure program satisfaction

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple travel arrangements simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and travel vendors.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address unexpected travel-related issues.
• Familiarity with Concur travel booking systems, online travel portals, and other relevant tools.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$65,000.00 - $109,000.00 annually.
