This position is for a software engineer to support the LRHW software organization. You will help code, develop, and innovate technical solutions for soldier utilized ground systems.
This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to interface with software developers, test engineers, system engineers, program management, quality assurance engineers, and customer representatives.
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Test Engineer for a position in Huntsville, AL.
Specific duties will include:
- Support test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required
- Support off-hours testing and associated projects as needed
- Test document and planning development
- Test procedure preparation and execution
- Coordinate system resources to support testing
Basic Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with software/software test experience;
-Candidate must possess hardware troubleshooting or design experience; experience in reading schematics; experience with analog and/or digital circuits;
-Experience/familiar with test cable design and fabrication; experience with ESS (environmental testing) and utilize statistical data analysis is required.
-Team player; strong interpersonal skills; strong analytical skills;
-Active secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Support test development, integration, and anomaly resolution as required
- Support off-hours testing and associated projects as needed
- Security+ Certification
- Safe/De-mate Certification
- Background running Python, C++, Java, Object-oriented languages
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
