As part of a hardworking team of diverse portable metrologists, you will conduct equipment setup, measurement execution, system checks and maintenance, scanning, modeling, and development of metrology systems for the production of various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of OLS New Glenn vehicle design and production operations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct metrology operations including equipment setup, survey execution, integration into manufacturing, and test environments.
- Perform data analysis and report results using metrology software and Excel.
- Support lab development, maintain FOD controls, 5S activities and routine equipment validations.
- Perform surveys with contact and non-contact point acquisition, surface scanning, and photogrammetry systems.
- Maintain cutting edge field competency and work within industry to maintain forward looking metrology techniques and plans.
Qualifications:
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion.
- Acute spatial reasoning ability.
- Experience with portable metrology equipment such as Laser Trackers, Laser Radar, Photogrammetry, and Laser Scanners
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5.
- Experience using Spatial Analyzer metrology software.
- An understanding of large-scale measurement technologies and methods.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Strongly Desired:
- Minimum three (3) years of practical experience or equivalent training in large volume portable metrology set-up, execution, documentation, and analysis.
- Experience using other metrology software.
- Experience operating and working from aerial lifts
- Able to lift up to 50lbs to setup equipment
- Experience working with modeling programs such as CATIA or CREO
- Experience using Windchill or other PLM
- Experience working within AS9100 or equivalent regulatory quality assurance program
- Ability to support second shift or weekend shift as needed

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.
Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
