Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sentinel Payload Consolidated Test Resource (SPCTR) Program Manager 2 in support of the Sentinel program.  Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure.  This position is in Roy, UT and may require on-site support at product manufacturing and integration sites.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.  This position may also require occasional travel to Northrop Grumman and Government locations within the United States.  

What You’ll Get To Do

Sentinel Payload Consolidated Test Resource Lead’s primary responsibilities are to manage the design, development, test, and deployment for the SPCTR support equipment. This includes contract negotiations with a supplier and management of cost, schedule, and technical performance during execution. This position will programmatically report directly to the PLT Advanced Programs Manager.

Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:

• Supporting supplier contract negotiations and ongoing contract management including SSOW maintenance.
• Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools.
• Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning
• Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.).
• Managing suppliers to meet program objectives.
• Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards.
• Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities.
• Development and adherence to master plans and schedules.
• Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.   

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of related experience or Master’s Degree in and 4 years related experience or in lieu of degree an additional 4 years of related experience
• 1+ years leading a project and /or driving performance against schedule 
• Active DoD Secret clearance, with investigation within last 5 years.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experience with USAF ICBM heritage programs, specifically RS/RV.
• Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager.
• Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively work within a team environment.
• Prior experience with Nuclear Certified Support Equipment.
• Prior Experience managing a subcontractor.
• Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel.
• Active DoD TS clearance.

Salary Range: $116,200.00 - $174,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
