This exciting position will serve in two critical capacities.
An integral part of the Strategic and Missile Defense Systems (SMD) line of business (LOB), the individual selected for this role will act in a hybrid capacity as an HRBP for the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program located at Silverdale, WA on the Bangor Naval Base Kitsap, responsible for designing and executing human resources strategies that impact 450 union and non-union employees.

They will build strong relationships and partner with the Lockheed Martin Strategic Weapons Facility- Pacific (SWFPAC) Resident Director and Deputy Resident Director and will anticipate client needs to proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization while serving as a change agent, leader coach, and employee advocate.
They will also operate as an HRBP for other geographically dispersed clients across major FBM locations. They will consistently engage with key stakeholders in business and HR organizations locally and at other LM locations. They will consult with leadership, employees, and cross-functional groups to solve complex organizational challenges, and be an integral part of the client's leadership team. The selected individual will also utilize metrics to measure success, identify trends and analyze systemic issues to develop holistic solutions and will assess talent capabilities for future bench strength.

Other areas of responsibility include partnering to drive talent management strategic efforts which will require a strong capability to anticipate client needs and proactively identify areas for collaboration and integration inside and outside the HR organization while serving as a change agent and coach. The selected candidate must be comfortable designing and deploying data-driven people solutions that are efficient, effective, and flexible and in partnership with relevant Human Resources Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver human resources and Labor Relations programs and business outcome-focused solutions.

The role requires the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance prior to starting. Applicants must have the ability to obtain a clearance to be considered/interviewed for the role.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources or Project Management (HRBP, Talent Management, Labor and Employee Relations, etc)
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and initiatives, including developing project plans, identifying stakeholders, preparing executive-level briefing plans, identifying milestones
deadlines, and metrics to assess outcomes/results
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships, collaborate with others, engage in constructive conflict, and manage interpersonal dynamics
• Demonstrated decision-making, strong judgment, strong oral and written communication, and business acumen
• Demonstrated systems thinking approach with the ability to identify opportunities for HR to engage effectively with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
• This position requires the ability to obtain/maintain a US government security clearance; US citizenship is required with no dual citizenship status or willingness to renounce the dual citizenship
• Able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
Desired Skills:
• 6+ years of experience in Human Resources or Project Management (HRBP, Talent Management, Labor and Employee Relations, etc)
• Demonstrated successful project leadership experience across full life cycle (design, implementation & sustainment)
• A broad human resource background to include functional experience in one or more Centers of Excellence (COE)
• Labor Relations experience, knowledge and understanding
• Master’s degree, SHRM and LM 21 Green Belt certifications

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $74,700 - $143,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
