Description:This position needs a skilled engineer in the area of Special Test Equipment (STE) design to lead the design, build, and test of the 3rd generation FBM Reentry Test Station (RTS3) console. The RTS3 console will be used to perform electrical and functional checkouts of flight hardware prior to missile integration. During this project, you will:
• Take ownership as project engineer
• Interface with multiple departments and stakeholders
• Create STE requirement design specifications
• Create and release test console drawings
• Maintain project schedule and cost forecast
• Certify RTS3 console meets requirements
This position is preferred to be located in King of Prussia, PA where testing will occur, but can also be located in Englewood, CO. Minimal travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
• Experience with designing, analyzing and/or testing electrical hardware
• Demonstrated project management experience
• Demonstrated good communication with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers
• Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members
• Ability and desire to obtain a Top Secret clearance which requires US Citizenship
Desired Skills:
• Experience with electronics hardware test equipment development and test
• Experience with Spacewire and/or bus architecture design
• Experience leading a team of multidisciplinary, geographically diverse engineers
• Existing Top Secret clearance

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
