Role Clearance Type: You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government clearance in line with the job role (SC)

Location: Burlington House, New Malden, Kingston-Upon-Thames, London, UK.

About Your Opportunity:

A key member of the Systems Engineering and Safety team, this role will work to provide Logistic Support Analysis and other key ILS activities for UK and international defence programs. Working within a cross-functional team, the ILS engineer will work across all phases of the life cycle including product development, equipment entry into service and in-service support.

Your Responsibilities:

    •    Undertake Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) tasks
    •    Obsolescence and spares management
    •    Creation and maintenance of technical documentation (e.g. manuals, parts catalogues, configuration management and provisioning documentation)
    •    Risk management associated with logistics and support activities
    •    Collaborate and liaise with suppliers and customers - obtaining and communicating relevant ILS information and mitigating ILS related risks

Your Experience:

    •    Engineering Degree in related discipline or equivalent relevant experience in ILS Engineering
    •    Obsolescence management
    •    Spares and repairs forecasting modelling
    •   Knowledge and application of relevant international standards
    •    Knowledge and application of relevant of UK Defence Standards
