Consolidated Analysis Orchestration Services (CAOS) is the preeminent Geospatial-Intelligence program in the world – over 10,000 intelligence analysts and decision-makers worldwide rely on CAOS for critical intelligence and geospatial data management. In addition to meeting today’s critical intelligence mission needs, we are working on evolving automation and artificial intelligence solutions for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). We need the best engineers on our team to ensure mission success!
The selected Staff-level Software Engineer will play an integral role in managing the governance of integrating emerging technologies and applications onto the current Orchestration Services Software Release Train. Working closely with NGA stakeholders and 3rd party developers this role will accomplish the following:
• Coordinate with external entities and developers to track milestone schedules, groom agile backlogs, and prepare the internal LM scrum team to integrate the applications onto the current release train.
• Foster cross-team integration, manage project risks, escalate and engineer solutions to development impediments, and create strong relationships between all stakeholders participating in the governance process.
• Interface with external ISPs and coordinate changes to infrastructure supporting the Orchestration Services applications and services
• Coordinating with the Government customer, and enterprise partners, as well as the program’s leadership, development, and test teams.
The applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with Agile Methodology
• Demonstrated understanding of the Full Life Cycle of Systems Engineering and or Software Development standards
Final Top Secret Security Clearance Needed to Start
Desired Skills:
• Experience in the GEOINT community
• Experience supporting an operational baseline, patch delivery, and operational deployments
• Experience with external application integration
• Demonstrated experience supporting active operational systems
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $105,000 - $201,100. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
