As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will develop Electrical Power System test plans and procedures to be executed on the vehicles and in the Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testbeds to ensure the correctness and performance of our avionics and ground support equipment for our Lunar Lander program (Blue Moon - https://www.blueorigin.com/blue-moon ).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of electrical tests..
  • Support with the integration of flight avionics hardware, ground support equipment, operator consoles and analysis tooling necessary to verify the requirements and performance of units under test.
  • Support the design and development of Special Test Equipment (STE) and integrate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to simulate and stimulate Articles Under Test (AUTs) or capture AUT output and interface performance.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware simulation and fault injection solutions with real-time vehicle simulations.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience integrating and testing vehicle systems
  • Experience developing special electronic test equipment and troubleshooting equipment
  • Proficient in the use of standard electronic lab tests and troubleshooting equipment
  • Preference for and ability to thrive as a member of a small, tightly integrated team
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired :

  • M.S. degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with the development and execution of a large-scale verification of avionics on autonomous spaceflight systems
  • Experience supporting testbeds for spaceflight systems
  • Experience with programming in C++ and/or Python, Simulink experience

Paid Time Off:  Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.

Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
