Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced Facilities Technical Administrator to join our growing team. Reporting to the Sr. Facilities Manager, the Facilities Technical Administrator will assist in the daily administrative duties of Facilities. A candidate in this role would also be responsible for some light handyperson and cleaning work as needed.

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist the Sr. Facilities Manager in all administrative duties
  • Be the main point of contact for facilities ticket requests in Irvine, CA offices 
  • Generate Visitor Requests for any Facility vendors
  • Order, track, and inventory all facility supplies or parts and cleaning supplies through procurement.
  • Track requests for minor/major repairs, temp/climate changes, and day porter services through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 
  • Oversight on reviewing Building Management System (BMS)
  • Sustain Department Key Performance Indicators (KPI)s, (Health & Safety of the Department, Utilities, After hours HVAC usage, Open/Closed MROs, Open/Closed PM tickets, YTD Expenses)
  • Hands on work experience for light duty facilities support and back up for facilities manager.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualification and Skills 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in engineering or facilities maintenance area fields.
  • Experience in the maintaining a CMMS, asset list, inventory, Maintenance Request Order (MRO)
  • Experience in using Building Management System (BMS)
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to understand Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) drawings
  • Knowledge in construction, purchasing, facility office administrative duties
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment 
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Self-motivated but able to work in a team
  • Strong knowledge of all clerical activities with emphasis to detail
  • Excellent people skills to interact positively with all internal and external parties

Salary Range $22.00 - $32.00 per hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined case-by-case and may vary based on the job-related qualification, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Physical Demands

An employee must meet the physical demands described to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. In performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit or stand for long durations of time, in addition to bending, reaching, and walking. This would require the ability to lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. This position is generally sedentary, with substantial computer usage.

Work Environment

The job operates in a professional office environment but in a manufacturing company. This job routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and scanners.
