Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sentinel - C&L IATC Deputy Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
This position will be responsible to the Command and Launch (C&L) Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout (IATC) Director and serve as their deputy for all C&L segment integration and test, assembly and checkout, technical, cost, and schedule performance as well as contributing to customer cultivation related to validation and verification of the C&L segment in a digital model-based environment. Deputy responsibilities also extend to coordinating and executing C&L related test and integration activities in our Systems Integration Lab (SIL), at our C&L test range in Promontory, Utah, as well as integration and launch preparations at Vandenberg Space Force Base throughout the flight test campaigns.
The selected individual will develop the C&L IATC tactical approach taken from the Director’s strategic vision and lead the team in successfully executing that approach.
The selected individual will be expected to lead the C&L IATC team in meeting customer SOW requirements and company objectives, within budget and schedule constraints.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead a cross-functional leadership team, which staffs and manages a 150+ organization including systems engineers, test engineers, software engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers among others.
Help organize and manage various Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFC) teams
Plan and manage C&L Assembly/manufacture, kitting, checkout and acceptance testing
Operate and lead in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing and prioritizing multiple tasks
Strong time management and project management skills and a proven record of meeting very aggressive schedules
Interact with the customer and program leadership to define and maintain the technical baseline.
Effectively communicate and present to program management, other technical leaders, technical peers, and customers
Develop and execute 3-month Agile program increments with associated 2-week sprints
Manage Risks and Opportunities
Provide oversight of IATC Cost and Schedule performance and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Lead and enforce IATC Change and Configuration Management and participate in Program Technical Review Boards, Configuration Control Boards
Interact with multiple NG Subcontractor Management Teams and Program Subcontractors (e.g., Collins, Bechtel, GD) to effectively plan and execute integration and test
Manage and resolve technical, programmatic, and personnel issues
Mentor mid-level leaders and junior technical staff members

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors of Science degree with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance with completed investigation within the last 6 years, with the ability to obtain a program SAP clearance.
3 years of direct experience leading large teams.
Earned Value Management Experience (EVMS) experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
5+ years of direct experience leading large teams, projects or programs to successful common goal attainment.
Experience in requirements verification and test planning in an MBSE environment.
Experience in integration and/or test of launch vehicles for commercial, government or ICBM applications.
Experience in test program execution and demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones.
Demonstrated ability to create trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver effective communication verbally, written, and through well-crafted presentations across all levels of an organization.
Experience with risk, issue, and opportunity management.
Experience with Agile management.
Experience with the Atllasian tool suite - Jira, Confluence.
Experience with the requirements tools: DOORS, Cameo.
Bachelors of Science in a STEM discipline with at least 10 years of experience in IPT-level management and/or program-level management supporting US Government contracts and customers.
Masters of Science in a STEM discipline with at least 8 years of experience in in IPT-level management and/or program-level management supporting US Government contracts and customers.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex programs comprised of engineering, business, contracts, law, supply chain, production, and mission/quality assurance disciplines.
Proven ability to lead a high performing team with evidence of being able to create an inclusive work environment that attracts, retains, and inspires diverse and engaged teams.

Salary Range: $141,900.00 - $212,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
