Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) - located outside of Baltimore, Maryland - where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs. Northrop Grumman’s ATL semiconductor foundry is a unique capability supporting a range of production microelectronic devices (Silicon, Gallium Arsenide, Gallium Nitride, and Silicon Carbide) and providing leading edge technology development in superconducting electronics. Our devices enable a number of Northrop Grumman’s ground-based radars, avionic radars, and space systems. The position will support Systems and Infrastructure organization for the ATL Foundry. The Network and Infrastructure Manager will serve as the functional manager of a diverse team expected to support the daily needs of the foundry. This team consists of a help desk, network engineers, and system admins. A successful candidate will lead this growing team in projects supportive of the ATL foundry engineering teams in alignment with the Enterprise Services teams. The candidate must be open to learning about manufacturing principles, semiconducting manufacturing and testing. This will be a hybrid position (some on-site collaboration but flexibility to work-from-home). Up to 25% domestic travel may be expected.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing staffing and reporting status and metrics to Functional leadership.
Provide leadership to direct reports, which include but not limited to, performance reviews, staffing, interviewing/onboarding, and direct engagement.
Collaborate with various organizations and entities to ensure end-to-end alignment with strategic objectives of the Foundry as well as the sector
Managing daily work from the help desk and tableau reporting teams
Focus on continual and optimal performance of systems, solutions, and infrastructure that are key to the Foundry’s operational performance.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of 9 years of software development experience or Masters Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 7 years of experience or PhD with 4 years related experience
Woking experience with a variety of productivity tools such as MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Familiarity with variety of OS—both client and server based--such as Windows and Linux
Knowledge of Dev*Ops principles and tools—Specifically Git source control knowledge and Atlassian Suite (Jira, BitBucket, etc) knowledge
Prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result and provide direction to resolve priorities to achieve goals.
• Make decisions that impact the organization’s credibility, operations, and services.
• Comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.Proven knowledge of SDLC process leveraging agile and/or waterfall methodology
Knowledge of networks, and network security, on-prim and within a cloud environment
Practical experience in drafting DR plans in support of business continuity
Position requires the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
US Citizenship required
Preferred Requirements:
Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) with SCI clearance
Prior agile team leadership experience
Experience designing, developing, integrating, verifying, and qualifying products with systems engineering practices.
Practical experience in drafting DR plans in support of business continuity
Experience developing BOEs and supporting IMS and IFC planning
Experience and demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams including job analysis, new product design, system architecture, system integration and working with customers and other stakeholders to perform requirement definition.
Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution (MES), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
Familiarity with Cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and procedures such as NIST-800-171, CMMC, CUI/CDI, ISSPs
Familiarity with IT/OT trends, practices, and principles
Led or played a key role in efforts involving Digital Transformation implementation/proliferation.
