Job description

As a Tanks Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible with developing processes for dome, structures, and tank manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Work with Responsible Engineers to solidify proper manufacturing processes
Develop & optimize manufacturing processes for tanks, domes & supporting structures
Own the entire manufacturing life-cycle for assigned projects & hardware
Work directly with machinists & technicians to produce high-quality hardware
Work directly with outside vendors

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
7+ years' of demonstrated hands-on manufacturing experience within aerospace or related industry
Demonstrated experience of developing manufacturing processes from scratch
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

Masters' degree in an engineering discipline
10+ years' of tank, dome or structures manufacturing
Previous experience working within a start-up
Demonstrated experience with spin-forming or friction stir-welding

Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
