Job Summary

The IT Help Desk Technician will provide technical support and assistance to customers, whether on the phone or in person. This role’s primary goal is to ensure a client's satisfaction and ability to properly operate any PC or technology they may be having trouble with. 

This position's internal job code is Technical Support - Help Desk. Our team is currently hiring for level 1 and 2. 

Responsibilities

• Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely and organized manner 

• Responds to customer issues via phone, email and computer chat to provide customer assistance 

• Document customer interactions 

• Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues 

• Escalate issues as needed to the next Tier of support 

• Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software. 

• Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Technical degree or 1-2+ years of experience working in a help desk role 

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts or sites with minimal notice 

• Available to work regular overtime 

• Proficiency with Windows computers 

• Excellent oral communication skills 

• Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets 

• Highly organized with strong ability to keep Help desk tickets in order 

• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues 

• Ability to obtain Secret clearance 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Active Directory 

• Experience with Office365 enterprise 

• Experience with IPT Phone 

• Experience with Windows 10 

• Experience supporting new employee Onboarding 

• Current Secret clearance  

• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation 

• CompTIA A+ certification

Physical Demands of the Work Environment

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Summary Pay-Range

• Level 1 :$24.11 - $35.46
• Level 2: $29.83 - $43.87
