Job description

Turion Space is seeking an experienced DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the CI/CD pipelines of applications to help manage our ground segment, automate our development pipelines, and help build the infrastructure that runs all of our applications. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver who enjoys coding, understands the CI/CD pain points, and is excited to use systems administration, networking, and development experience to integrate the technology stack into an overall DevOps & Infrastructure solution delivering high reliability and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Own all aspects of application infrastructure development
Automate CI/CD workflows allowing developers to focus on software design and development tasks
Actively interface with users to learn their problems and create efficient solutions
Develop and implement new pipelines and infrastructure architectures that improve how Turion Space operates

Minimum Qualifications

BS in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
2+ years of DevOps and infrastructure development experience
Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test CI/CD pipelines from scratch
Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test software infrastructure from scratch
Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience

Some programming experience in in Python, Ruby, or similar object-oriented language
Experience with docker
Experience with AWS
Experience building microservices
Experience building complex systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
