Develops internal loads on secondary structures or components using NASTRAN base-drive analysis
Reduces structural dynamics models using Craig-Bampton (CB) method, and recovers output using Load Transformation Matrices (LTM)
Verifies analysis to assure compliance with structural integrity and stability requirements
Plans and conducts modal survey tests to validate finite element models (FEM), including mode selection, accelerometer and excitation location, and result correlation
Establishes dynamic test criteria (low-frequency sinusoidal sweep) for component qualification, and verifies test compliance
Compares flight instrumentation data to pre-flight predictions and requirements, and investigates anomalies
Generates load spectra for use in fatigue and wear analysis
