As part of a unique and highly skilled team, you’ll participate in building the road to space. You will join the Finance Operations leadership team and partner with the Senior Executive(s) of supply chain management in the enhancement and growth of this critical support organization. In this hands-on role, you will provide executive financial leadership driving performance improvement and predictability. We are seeking a proactive, detailed and service-oriented leader with excellent financial skill, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills that can thrive in a fast-paced environment and handles ambiguity with confidence.
You will be responsible for the financial management of Test & Flight Ops (TFO), Safety & Mission Assurance (SMA), and Quality, as their operational partner. This role will provide critical financial insights and analysis to other business leaders and influence operating and strategic decisions. These decision areas include capital investments, mission objectives, schedule performance, new business opportunities, and product and service pricing. As a change agent and Finance leader for Corporate Operations, you'll build the financial infrastructure and a scalable finance function that has the right people, processes, and tools to support growth.

Responsibilities:
- Lead an impactful team of leaders and individual contributors; establish clear team and individual objectives, support performance and career development, and team engagement
- Analyze data and methods to predict and improve the company’s delivery of products and services to its customers
- Develop and deliver business unit financial commitments in program/project EACs, business cases, investment returns, and annual operating plan
- Facilitate change by seeking opportunities to transform or improve systems, processes, and model adaptability
- Review bids and proposals, customer contract performance, new opportunity development.
- Participate in customer, supplier, and vertical integration strategies and negotiations. Support assessment of strategic partnerships and mergers & acquisitions
- Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, resolving problems, and implementing change
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan and Multi Year financial planning process for the key organizations listed above
- Eliminate bottlenecks across the organization to improve cycle time
- Perform financial analyses to support investments, pricing and new business decisions, expert in make-buy decisions
- Develop financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; and developing action plans
- Oversee financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances
- Maximize returns on invested funds
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to effectively lead multiple, large-scale projects and dynamically shift focus and reprioritize when needed
- Excellent communicator; can articulate complex concepts to a diverse technical and non-technical audience
- A hands-on leader, with a team-centered orientation, and prioritizes collaboration with visibility in problem solving
- The highest levels of integrity, unquestionable ethics, excellent judgement
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or graduate degree in relevant field
- 15+ years of Finance experience to include experience in manufacturing and research and development industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or similar
- Significant and progressive people management experience
- Experience mentoring and coaching both financial and non-financial staff
- Professional proficiency in FAR and DFAR
- Experience with multiple legal entities and sites
- Extensive cash management experience
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and, project and cost accounting, and rates
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Desired:
- MBA or master’s degree
- CPA, CMA
- Aerospace and defense manufacturing experience
- Financial leadership role of a multibillion-dollar business unit

Paid Time Off: Up to four (4) weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays for all regular employees (including part-time), fixed-term, and interns.
Discretionary bonus: Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
