As part of one or more project teams, under the supervision of an experienced engineer, the engineer is responsible for establishing the concepts of our space products mechanisms customized for international customers. From the proposal phase to the detailed definition, he defines components of mechanical assemblies (bearings, lubricants, gears, motors, feed, and control) to ensure that the final product meets the customer's specific needs and can survive the harsh space environment. To define the product, the engineer uses a series of highly advanced software such as simulation, control and 3D design software which allow forecasting the behaviour and performance of mechanisms to develop. He also participates in the preparation of mass budgets and provides support to manufacturing and mechanical testing activities mostly performed at MDA.
