Job description
a.i. solutions is looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for aerospace to join our Prototype Operations I (POPS-I) contract as the Assistant Business Manager. The candidate will work in a team environment as an active member of the Business Management Office. This position entails frequent contact with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management. The candidate will provide products/services that always meet and usually exceed customer expectations.
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractor teammates
- Prepare, distribute, and execute routine subcontract modifications, to include calculating and awarding subcontract earned Award Fee based on program Award Fee scores received.
- Receive limitation of funds notices from subcontractors, and distribute funding via subcontract modification
- Ensure proper recordkeeping for subcontract files in accordance with corporate policy
- Prepare and deliver contract deliverable reports (CDRL’s) per program process
- Support budget and financial processes to include preparation and delivery of contract Funds and Labor Hour Expenditure Reports and annual Division Operating Plan inputs
- Assist in maintaining program SharePoint web pages, lists and libraries, and other web pages in support of POPS-I Business Management activities, to include regular communications with customers and stakeholders
- Develop ad-hoc reports and metrics to track and report against goal performance
- Support program proposal preparations with pricing support
- Support Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) internal and external audits as required
- Fulfill the duties of the Business Manager in their absence as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration and 4 years of related experience
- Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel
- Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in finance or business
- Ability to relocate to Albuquerque, NM
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Solid leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner
- Acute attention to detail and the ability to overcome obstacles and pursue alternate methods if warranted
- Ability to establish solid working relationships with peers, management, and customers
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
