What does this role look like?
As a PCB Designer, working for one of the top companies in the world, you will be part of an interdisciplinary engineering team in design, documentation, fabrication, assembly, test, and integration of hardware.
In this role, you will work on Printed - Card assembly designs ranging from 2 layer quick turn boards to space-qualified high layer count rigid/flex backplanes with blind/buried/micro vias.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Our team uses a variety of commercial and custom tools. We intend on extending the capabilities of these tools so comfort with learning and writing code is a plus.
• The primary PCB development tool you will use is Zuken CR-8000.
• Other tool usage for signal integrity, documentation control and inspection, and regular MS-Office tools will be necessary as well.
Typical mins for this role:
• Please note: this is not an entry level position.
• Prior experience in PCB Design.
• 5 - 9 years of professional experience for this role.
• US Citizenship is required for this position.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Demonstrated experience in PCB Design and Fabrication or Assembly.
• Demonstrated experience working with external vendors as well as internal manufacturing.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with flex, rigid flex, or RF.
• Design experience using any of the major tools such as; Mentor, Cadence, Altium, or Zuken.
• Knowledge of Design or Fabrication or Assembly specifications such as IPC 2221, 2222, 2223 or IPC 6012, 6013 or IPC 600.
• Ability to review PCB and Assembly Drawings complicate with Drafting Standards, Geometric Tolerancing, and change management release packages.
• Experience in failure analysis (FA) results of x-ray, CT scan, or cross sectional analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving enterprise technical issues.
• Proven understanding of electronics standards and processes.
• Ability to communicate how and why a design meets specified requirements both in writing and verbally.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
