We are currently seeking a Payroll and Labor Time Compliance Analyst to join our team in Westminster, CO. In this role, you will ensure accurate processing and recording of the companyโs payroll, provide timely and accurate payroll information as requested, and participate in daily data entry payroll processing. You will impact a growing organization and be responsible for all activities related to the preparation of payroll. The ideal candidate for this hands-on position is highly-motivated, detail-oriented, strong with customer service and communication skills, and open to general supervision.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate processing and recording of multi-state payroll for 1000+ employees
- Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
- Load import files received from HR
- Create and run various ad hoc reports out of payroll system, as needed
- Process 401(k), HSA, PAC funding and support testing of compliance at year end
- Assist with internal and external audits and inquiries as necessary
- Process garnishments in payroll system
- Process off-cycle manual checks
- Assist with year-end tasks related to W-2 processing
- Perform year-end processing and reconciliation of payroll accounts
- Understand and apply company policies and government regulations affecting payroll procedures
- Respond to employee questions and troubleshooting issues regarding payroll
- Serve as liaison between human resources and accounting
- Create journal entries related to payroll and stock runs
- Reconcile payroll balance sheet accounts monthly
- Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Works with Labor Compliance and Payroll Teams to ensure accurate hours are recorded and processed for payroll
- Address and resolve employee timekeeping questions
- Research and resolve system, data, and reporting problems
- Reconcile timecards to other accounting and HR system
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Four additional years of
experience may be substituted for a degree - Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in labor, payroll, HR, or other related field
- Multi-state payroll experience
- Strong Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday experience, including payroll processing and reporting
- Experience with DCAA Compliance
- Familiarity with SAP systems
- International payroll experience
- Understanding of government regulations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with concern for detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization
Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidateโs unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:
$57,000.00 - $95,000.00 annually.
