Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Business Management Manager 2 to provide full spectrum Business Management support to the Strategic Program Team. The selected candidate will report to the Director of Business Management and support to the program’s performance and financial/strategic objectives. This position will be located in Magna, UT.
The Business Management Manager 2 will lead a team of business management professionals, as direct reports and matrixed from other disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Leading all aspects of program financial execution objectives
- Ensuring effective compliance with EVMS requirements
- Providing accurate and timely inputs to business systems supporting financial forecasting and profitability determination
- Leading Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs), Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements
- Leading Program Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/ Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
- Identifying issues and making recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation
- Program resource management, including cost estimation, allocation, tracking, and analysis
- Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) preparation and review
- Management and development of Program Control Analyst (PCA) staff
- Lead the integration of financial planning and forecasting
- Oversee and ensure quality of cost and schedule data delivered to internal customers, including EVMS reporting requirements
- Lead Internal and External Audits, and other financial assurance engagements
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and make recommendations to management for resolution or mitigation
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in with a minimum of 10+ years of industry related experience – OR – Master’s degree with a minimum of 8+ years of industry related
- An additional four years’ experience accepted in lieu of a degree
- Earned Value Proficiency including the Earned Value Guidelines
- Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis
- Strong experience operating within highly compliant business
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or a Master’s Degree in a Business related field
- Prior experience supporting large complex proposal activities
- Experience with financial forecasting systems including any of the following: TM-1, Hyperion, or COGNOS
- Experience with TM1 financial forecasting system & earned value management system.
- Management experience
- Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management
