SUMMARY: Within Axiom Space’s digital asset lifecycle, the Digital Asset Coordinator is responsible for leading the organization and supporting the distribution of multimedia content that tells and strengthens the overall Axiom message, both internally and externally, in the next chapter of humanity’s story.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Organization
    1. Oversee the management of Axiom’s Digital Asset libraries in accordance with established standards and procedures.
    2. Proactively identify and recommend imagery for use in Axiom’s digital and physical channels.
    3. Accurately use established standards and procedures to sort, tag, and maintain asset metadata in detail.
    4. During mission operations, support the management of mission imagery asset transfer and organization.
    5. Manage the transition of existing assets into the Axiom Digital Asset libraries in accordance with established standards.
    6. Support content organization and search tools through the development of social media and alt text caption writing
  2. Distribution
    1. Manage, maintain, and increase content engagement internally and externally through content discovery and use reporting.
    2. Reduce content requests by increasing self-service efficiency.
    3. Serve as liaison for external partners on permission information, usage guidelines, and technical content issues.
  3. Work collaboratively with other departments through planning and production of campaigns and dynamic events.
  4. Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education from which comparable and demonstrable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.

Skills

  • Ability to deliver projects within deadline and/or assess timeline for planned deferrals

Technical Experience:

  • Knowledge of software programs including, but not limited to:
    • Box Content Cloud
    • Digital Asset Management Platforms
    • Adobe Bridge
    • Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint Sites
    • Data transfer utilities
    • Brand Management Platforms experience a plus
    • Content creation experience a plus

  • Knowledge of hardware including, but not limited to:
    • Physical storage (Hard drives, camera media, data transfer utilities)
    • Photography and videography equipment from a wide array of vendors
    • Live video production and streaming experience a plus
