As a Senior Leader at ispace-US, the Director of Program Management leads a Program Integration Team (PIT) comprised of high performing program managers and support specialists to execute ispace-US lunar lander development programs
Responsibilities
- Responsible for program cost, schedule, technical performance and risk of each individual program across the US business
- Develops a reporting cadence for action items, key metrics, customer and executive briefings
- Provides program management resource support for the ispace-US Bids and Proposal process
- Responsible for all program planning and controls functions to include schedule, Subcontract Deliverable Requirements Lists (SDRL's) and Risks
- Supports Operational leadership to develop processes, tools and procedures for Program Execution
- Ensures cross-functional stakeholder alignment with Engineering, Programs, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Export Compliance, Legal, Assembly, Integration and Test, Quality, Safety and Mission Operations
- Proactively identify critical program development strategic issues and performs gap analysis, provides potential mitigation plans, participate and facilitate strategic prioritization process within ispace-US Business Performance Review meetings. Ensures major technical reviews are accomplished that advance development according to baselined schedule.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, supply chain and integration teams
- Extreme ownership of project, responsible for driving from concept through to integration and launch
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's within a STEM discipline, ideally 10+ years of combined experience managing complex and challenging cross-functional development programs within a highly fast paced technical environment, ideally within the Aerospace industry
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across global cross functional leaders
- High sense of accountability and ownership, ability to be resourceful and deliver results with minimal direction
- Experience independently assessing complex problems and decomposing into a plan of action while coordinating across a large and diverse team of technical and schedule/business SMEs
- The ability to deliver, manage, and present communications (written/oral) with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.
- Proven and effective executive-level briefing, writing and organizational skills and significant experience leading across multiplane technical and business operations disciplines
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft products and data analytics tools (e.g. Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.) Ideal candidate has experience with Fastworks toolset and methodologies
- Must be a US Citizen, US National, or Permanent Resident. Sponsorship for this role is not currently available.

Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate should ideally have startup experience - ability to navigate between the big-picture strategy and tactical execution of programs
- Ideal candidate has experience working with spacecraft development programs to include Engineering Design, Development, Assembly Integration & Test and Mission Operations
- Proficiency in Solidworks, Femap, NASTRAN (or equivalent), Confluence, JIRA software packages
- Experience with complex spacecraft design and integration
