Job Summary

We are hiring a communications employee engagement specialist. In this role, you will collaborate with all levels of the organization to create and execute impactful employee engagement communications and events that inspire, inform and engage employees. Your contribution will allow us to create meaningful, ongoing communications with our employees while also promoting our unique culture and shared values. 

This position's internal job code is Communications & Branding Spec. Our team is currently hiring for level 2. 

Responsibilities

 

• Plan, implement and maintain employee recognition and rewards programs.

• Plan, implement and lead employee engagement events, including the Annual All-Staff Benefits and Wellness Fair, Holiday Programs, Job Title/Recognition Days and other morale-boosting events.

• Create communications with clear and persuasive messaging to support employee engagement.

• Drive consistent and strategic branding and tone through all channels of employee communications.

• Assist in creating a unified Millennium culture that spans geographic locations.

• Assist with social media support

• Lead efforts to create an uplifting and inspiring work culture and environment through employee engagement activities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Relevant bachelor’s degree.

• Two or more years of experience as an engagement specialist or similar role.

• Proven writing experience in corporate/internal communications/engagement activities.

• Self-starter who is comfortable excelling through ambiguity.

• Comprehensive and insightful writing communication skills that convey key messages, strategy and direction in a concise and employee-friendly style.

• A minimum of two years of hands on experience in corporate event planning including budget management

• Strong stakeholder management and confidence working with key stakeholders from different backgrounds and levels of leadership.

• Strong time-management, organization and prioritization skills.

• A talent for critical thinking and creative solutions.

 

• Proven capability to effectively handle multiple tasks and responsibilities independently

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with team members and employees 

• Experience in assisting and supporting social media platforms for professional purposes

• Experience with employee recognition programs 

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay-Range

• Level 2: $68,000.00 - 100,000.00
