Your mission

As an HR Generalist for our production site, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our HR department. You will work closely with the local management team to provide comprehensive HR support and services. This role is essential for fostering a positive work culture, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.

More specifically, you will:

Employee Relations:

  • Handle employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances.
  • Foster a positive work environment through regular communication and engagement activities.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance appraisal process, including goal setting and feedback.
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs and facilitate training programs.
  • Monitor and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.

Compliance:

  • Stay up-to-date with local labor laws and ensure company policies are compliant.
  • Handle legal matters such as contracts, work permits, and terminations in adherence to local regulations.

Benefits and Payroll:

  • Administer and manage employee benefit and engagement programs in close cooperation with the Comp&Ben Specialist.
  • Collaborate with payroll team for accurate payroll processing and resolve payroll-related issues.

HR Records and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee files.
  • Generate reports on HR metrics and analytics to support decision-making.

HR Projects:

  • Participate in and lead HR projects and initiatives as required: e.g. in L&D, Culture, etc.

Who you are and what you have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Fluent in German and English.
