Military Space Operations in Littleton, CO has an exciting opportunity for a Final Assembly Senior Inspector supporting the Space Protection Programs mission area. In this role you will participate in the assembly, testing, and delivery of state-of-the-art mission hardware for critical national assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware assembly methods and inspection techniques, be familiar with non-conformance handling, certified in quality test support activities, and be knowledgeable about hardware handling requirements such as cleanrooms and ESD.
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical aptitude or experience in fabrication or quality assurance of electronic components/acceptance testing
- Must be able to read and comprehend detailed work instructions and interpret drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and standards
- Willing and able to work first or second shift, extended hours, weekends, and/or holidays as needed for production
- US Citizen and active Top Secret clearance to start with the ability to attain TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Skills:
- Quality Assurance, instrument/equipment technician QA, product inspection, mechanical inspection capability
- Previous industry-related certifications, including but not limited to J-STD, Hardware Torqueing, Adhesive Bonding, Polymerics, and Connector Mate/Demate
- Experience w/ new product intros, lean manufacturing, cost and quality optimization on production floors highly desired
- Experience with LM Space Quality tools such as VE-CAMS, SAP QNotes, P2P, and/or Automation Framework is a plus
- Quality Test Support Certification is beneficial

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $56,100 - $107,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
