We’re looking to expand our team across the board.

We are looking for a software engineer who is excited about building software to operate spacecrafts. Our ground operations software is a modern (React/TypeScript, C# .NET 6) web-based application which operators use to monitor and task space vehicles. You’ll be responsible for working with engineers, operators, and customers to understand requirements and implement features, bug fixes, and other improvements. Prior space-industry experience is not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop key user-facing features to support both current and future missions using React.js, Typescript and C#.
Translate designs and requirements into high quality code.
Develop APIs and other business logic.
Work with operators to improve the usability of the software.
Work with the flight software team to ensure compatibility and provide support for specialized payloads.
Develop management tools for our command and telemetry definitions database
Mentor more junior team members.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years of software engineering.
Full-stack web development experience. Including JavaScript and at least one back-end language.
Experience in React.js.
Experience with SQL databases.
Experience with modern security practices.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Computer science degree.
TypeScript experience.
Strongly typed backend language, such as C# or Java.
Experience with multi-threaded applications.
Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
Docker experience.
Experience with modern state management tools such as Recoil.js, React Query, Mobx, etc.
Familiarity with times series databases such as InfluxDB.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and Grafana.
Security Clearance.
