The CesiumAstro Marketing team is looking for a Spring 2024 intern to assist in multi-media video production efforts. The position will take place at both our New Product Introduction facility and Headquarters. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, storytelling, and communication within a manufacturing setting.

Please include a cover letter describing your interest in video and photographic content production along with a portfolio highlighting completed projects. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shoot and edit various industrial and lifestyle videos and stills on-site to be used on social media platforms, at events, and as related external collateral.
  • Collaborate with our Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments to organize, research, and capture weekly content.
  • Work onsite at our offices in West Austin/Bee Cave 8-12 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Master of Arts (MA) program in a related field (e.g., film/video production, graphic design, visual arts) from an accredited university.
  • Have a natural skill for cinematography, shot framing, visual storytelling, and pace, capable of filming highly compelling and attractive content.
  • Experience using high-end camera equipment (preferably Canon EOS R6 Mark II cameras and wireless mic systems), lighting (soft boxes and accent lights), and editing software (Adobe Suite).
  • Confidence working with Adobe Premiere  or similar tools, and familiarity with Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Working independently and as a member of a team, maintaining composure and confidentiality, and working effectively in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities.
