Honeybee Robotics is seeking candidates to join our Summer 2024 internship program with a focus on test engineering. As an intern, youβll work closely with our experienced test operations team and immerse yourself in the world of aerospace testing and experimentation. You will be involved in the planning, execution, and analysis of aerospace tests and contributing to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of test plans and procedures for aerospace systems.
- Participate in the setup and dry runs of test equipment and instrumentation.
- Conduct aerospace tests, including structural, thermal, and aerodynamic tests.
- Collect and analyze test data, identifying deviations and anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing.
- Contribute to the documentation of test results and reports.
- Embrace a hands-on learning approach and aspire to make a meaningful and impactful contribution to the business.
Required Qualifications:
- To qualify for this position, you must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in junior standing or above at the time of application, preferably in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer-aided drafting experience (Inventor or Solidworks).
- Computer coding experience (LabView or Python).
- Hands-on instrumentation testing experience (TVAC, Vibration, Thermal, Torque Sensors, etc.).
During your internship experience, you can expect to:
