Growth Team

The Growth team acts as the powerhouse of the company, ensuring the immediate needs of the customers are swiftly met and the future ones are translated into a product roadmap and deliverable projects.

Each member of the team combines a mix of programmatic, system engineering, and commercial skills with specific strengths.


What will you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for one of the main growth axis of the company. You will grow, manage and lead the team responsible for the sales and business development for satellite imagery and insights, as well as coordinate the associated product development.


Day to day, this means you will be engaging and building partnerships with corporate and government entities, driving and building a proactive business development pipeline, and securing contracts associated with satellite imagery sales and associated insights. You will manage, lead, define and implement the commercial and product strategy for satellite imagery and insights, through coordination with the DataCosmos product team and the executive team. Alongside this, you will be growing and managing the Data & Insights business team as well as working with partners to deliver joint solutions to end users.

 

What you need to be successful

  • Satellite imagery and insights: strong commercial and good technical knowledge of satellite imagery and insights, the ecosystem, the associated data platform. Knowledge of applications related to the associated satellite imagery required.
  • Business development and sales: demonstrable capability to secure satellite imagery and insights deals at high-level (corporate managers and government representatives).
  • Knowledge of the data and insights ecosystem: Downstream ecosystem: main stakeholders, market segmentation, value chain structure ad general knowledge of satellite imagery product levels.
  • Negotiation: ability to listen actively, engage, influence and convince decision-makers at high-level (corporate managers, government representative).
  • People Management: lead, motivate and develop the Data Insights Business Team to deliver on their individual activities aligned to the business plan.
  • A strong communicator - You’ll be communicating a lot, so be confident in speaking, listening and writing, sometimes within large groups.
