Job description
Role & Responsibilities & Tasks: Payload equipment Execution & Performance Manager
In charge of the supplier contract execution management:
- Lead the control of the execution of the supplier contract from signature to delivery, with the objective to deliver the products on time and on quality to the projects and the Competence Centers
- Manage supplier activities according to the Statement of Work and Statement of Applicability and the Surveillance Plan, relying on the Thales best practices
- Manage and formalize change requests through contractual change notices with the supplier and in cooperation with the Category Buyer
- Coordinate with Programs and suppliers performance through formal reviews all along the contract
- Actively collaborate with suppliers on performance action plan
- Responsible for the deployment of corrective and preventive action plans
- Risk analysis:
- supporting Tactical Buyer/Category Buyer/Audit team for capability assessment during supplier selection process
- Manage continuously updated risk control analysis and related actions during execution
- Responsible for preventive action plans which address process, product, or component
- Consolidate and analyse at TAS Joint Venture level the forecasts from sites vs supplier global capability, alerting internally or at supplier level for gaps
- Act to improve the overall interface between TAS and the Supplier, using lessons learned for the continuous improvement of supplier
- Ensure application of follow-up process. In particular PVET4 (Project Kick-Off) and 5 (SPA - Supplier Performance Assessment).
- Participate to development reviews and follow-up for complex products
- Organize and conduct the suppliers performance reviews with the Category Manager
- Responsible to deliver operational supplier performance KPI in a collaborative approach
- Monitor and report to the Manager on a regularly basis the global performance action plan addressing two main topics: quality and punctuality
- Issue and Validate Supplier KPI at Joint Venture level
- Prepare and finalize with Category Buyers formal Claims including the Liquidated Damages
- Support Group initiatives in order to improve supplier performances
- Throughout her/his network, she/he contributes to the identification of weak signals in coordination with Industry, Engineering, Services, Quality and Procurement departments
- Contribute to the knowledge of the complete Supply Chain starting from the tier one supplier and identify weaknesses
- In case of local Supply Chain crisis, leads the Task Force

Experience and Skills
A proven track record based on direct experience of
- Development / manufacture procurement project management
- Commercially astute with technical skills in Optical domain
- Communication and influencing skills to build productive relationships at all levels of the business
- Knowledge of development and industrial project reviews.
- Knowledge of risk management
- Advanced ability to interpret and analyze
- Ability in Project Management and People (supplier and internal contributors) coordination in an international environment.
- Desirable experience in Space / Aerospace markets
- Competency on Technical aspect, in particular on Optical related technologies.
- Negotiation level in Spanish and English
